ENHANCEMENTS
General
Calendar Filter Closing - When applying a Date filter, the selection window could close if the user clicked away, even if no change was made. This has been updated—users now choose a date and click Select to apply the filter, and the window closes after the selection is saved.
Email Address Validation - Implemented email address validation to improve data integrity and ensure only valid emails can be entered into the system.
Enrollments Page and Patient Status Filter - The Enrollments page now includes a Patient Status filter, consistent with the Careflows and Patients pages. On initial load, the filter defaults to Current, displaying only active patients by default. Users can switch the filter to view Discharged or All patients as needed.
Patient Vitals Report and Date of Birth - The Patient Vitals report now includes a “Birthday” column alongside the patient’s name, location, and daily readings.
Saved Views and Schedule Emails - Previously, when users saved a view and configured scheduled emails, the minutes field allowed selection of any value between 01-59. Now, users can select from simplified time intervals: 00, 15, 30, or 45 minutes.
System Update Modal Messaging - Updated the timing of the Update Available modal. Previously, when a system update went live, the pop-up appeared immediately and prompted users to select Later or Reload Now. It will now appear only after the user completes their current task.
Report Export - Users can now export the Vitals with Thresholds Report as a PDF by using the native keystroke Ctrl + P and selecting Save as PDF from the Print window.
RPM Enrollment - Previously, the Vitals With Thresholds Report displayed all patients, regardless of their RPM enrollment status. Users can now filter patients based on RPM enrollment.
Bills
Patient Record and Bills - The Bills table within a Patient Record has been updated to include a Date of Service column. This column can be removed from the view by deselecting Date of Service in the column selector.
RPM Billing Code (99453) and Careflow Session Note - Previously, when accessing a resolved Careflow, users could remove bill codes from the Careflow Session Note if the bill had not been marked as new submission or submitted. However, the 99453 (RPM) billing code could not be deleted due to it being added via backend processes. Admins can now delete the bill code as needed.
RPM Export for 99445 - Previously, the PDF RPM export for billing code 99445 only displayed patient information and the Session Log. It has been updated to also include vitals and total days with readings, consistent with RPM exports that include 99454.
Careflows
Date of Service (DOS) Validation - Users may see three new warnings when selecting a Date of Service:
Invalid Date Format / Incomplete Entry - If the DOS is partially entered or manually entered in an invalid format (MM/DD/YYYY), the user will see “Date of Service Required.”
More Than 7 Days Before Careflow Created - If the DOS is more than 7 days before the Careflow was created, the user will see “Date of Service is more than 7 days before the care was created.”
Invalid Date Range - If the DOS is outside the system’s allowed range, the user will see “Date of service must be between Jan 1, 2010 12:00 PM and end of present day at 11:59 PM.”
List: Careflow Action Button - The “Start Session” and “View” action buttons are now fixed on the right side of the Careflow List screen. Previously, users had to scroll horizontally to access these buttons.
PDF Export and Session Log - Session Log visibility in PDF exports is now optional, allowing users to choose whether the Session Log section appears in the exported PDF.
Selection & Search - When selecting New Careflow from a Patient Record, users will now see improvements to the list of available Careflows, including alphabetical sorting and a search feature to streamline finding and selecting Careflows.
Steps and Facility Contacts - Using Form Rules, a single Careflow step (form) can now be configured to send its contents to a tagged facility contact upon Careflow resolution. For example, a Careflow step containing PHQ-9 language, inputs and results can be automatically sent to the designated facility contact.
Resolve Page and Date of Service Selector - Resolved an issue where users could enter an invalid date of service without receiving a warning. Now, when an invalid date is entered, an error message prompts the user to enter a valid date. The system recognizes a valid date as early as January 1, 2010 at 12:00 PM and the latest would be the day of Careflow resolve at 11:59 PM.
BUG FIXES
General
Date Filters
Last Calendar Selection - Resolved issues related to “Last Calendar” selections (week, month, year). These selections have been fixed and enhanced to correctly account for the user’s timezone.
Last Calendar Week - The week range for Last Calendar Week has been corrected to Monday through Sunday. It previously ran from Sunday to Saturday.
Single Date Selection - Fixed an issue where double-clicking a date to select a single day resulted in today’s date being included in the results. Results now reflect only the selected date.
Enrollments and “Facility” Filter - When filtering the Enrollments page by Facility, no results are returned. This has been fixed—using the Facility filter now populates the page with patients in the selected facility. Additionally, when the Facility column is enabled, it will include the facility name.
Patient List and “Enrolled in Careflow” Filter - Fixed an issue where the Enrolled in Careflow filter did not function as expected. Users can now filter the Patient List by Careflows that require enrollment.
Patient Record - Coverages - Fixed an issue where the confirmation modal was blocked when attempting to remove a second payer, preventing removal. Users can now see the confirmation and successfully remove the second payer.
Patient Search - Searches for patients with two first names or two last names could return no results. This issue has been resolved, and searches now correctly return patients with multiple first or last names.
Patient Vitals Report - Addressed a timezone-related issue that could cause vitals to appear one day off. Dates now correctly reflect when each vital was taken.
Saved Default Views - Fixed an issue where custom views saved as a Default View did not load on the configured page. Default Views now load correctly as expected.
Bills
Bills Code Filter - When using the Bill Codes filter on the Bills and New Submission pages, the Bills table would update, but the Patients table would not. This has been corrected. Using the Bill Codes filter now updates both tables.
Days With Readings - Resolved an issue where the unique reading day count shown in the Days With Readings column on the Bills page differed from the value shown in the PDF.
Deletion of Automated Bills - Fixed an issue affecting bills automatically applied to RPM Careflows. In some cases, CPT code 99453 was unintentionally removed and did not appear in the Billing section. This issue has been resolved. The automatically applied 99453 bill will now remain associated with the resolved Careflow and will correctly appear in the Billing section.
Facility Filter and New Submissions - Filtering the New Submission page by Facility would update the patient list in the lower panel, but the bill code summary in the top panel would not refresh. This issue has been resolved, and both panels now update correctly when filtering by Facility.
Logic with 99454 and 99445 - Resolved a date-range shift issue affecting 99454/99445 billing. When the system tried to “pull forward” a 30-day billing window to find the first billable reading date, it incorrectly advanced the bill’s start/end dates by applying updated 99445 logic. This skipped part of the expected coverage window and created a gap. The issue has been resolved and all affected bills with billing-period gaps were corrected.
Submissions Page Loading - Resolved an issue affecting the loading speed of the Bill Submission page under Billing.
Careflows
Home Screen and Open Careflows - When selecting an Open Careflow tile from the Omnivers Home Screen, users were not consistently directed to a Careflow List filtered to the selected Careflow type. This has been corrected. Selecting an Open Careflow tile now opens the Careflow List pre-filtered by the selected Careflow type.
End Session Modal
Date of Service - When a Date of Service is selected using the Date of Service or the Billing Setup form inputs, the selected date does not carry over into the End Session modal. The user, for example, decides to end the session versus resolve it. The End Session modal will now reflect the date of service collected.
Resolve Screen - Users have reported that when in a Careflow, they click Resolve then choose to End Session, elements of the Resolve Screen were included in the End Session modal. This has been corrected and users will only see the elements related to the End Session modal. This includes Next Step, Date and Time of Service, and the Notes area.
Field Identifier Values and Form Prefills - Fixed an issue where some form fields, configured with a field identifier value, did not prefill with the last filled field identifier value. Fields now correctly follow field identifier values and prefill instructions as defined in the form settings.
Forms Rules & Billing Codes - Form questions can be configured to select bill codes for a Careflow. Previously, when form questions were answered in a way that resulted in multiple bill codes being selected, the Billing Code dropdown on the Resolve Screen would display “(3),” for example. When users clicked the dropdown to see which bill codes were selected, all associated codes were visible, but none were checked. This has been corrected. Bill codes assigned through Form Rules will now appear checked when viewed on the Resolve Screen.
Forms and Prefill Loading - Form questions can be configured to prefill with previously entered information. In some cases, prefilled information would not load when the page was opened, requiring the user to refresh the individual field or the entire page. This has been corrected. Prefilled information will now load more quickly, reducing the need for refreshes.
Patient Record and History within a Careflow - Resolved a visual issue affecting the History page of the Patient Record when accessed from within a Careflow. Previously, scrolling on the page caused the entire Patient Record to move. Now, only the History table scrolls as expected.
Patient Record and Scrolling while in Careflow - When accessing the Patient Record from within a Careflow, users were unable to scroll vertically within the Patient Record, preventing them from viewing all information. This has been fixed—vertical scrolling is now enabled when opening the Patient Record from a Careflow.
Patient Vitals Prefill and Blood Pressure - Text Area inputs using Prefill “Patient last vitals” and Text Field inputs using Prefill “Patient last vitals: Blood Pressure” experienced an issue where the Blood Pressure values for Systolic and Diastolic were flipped. This has been corrected—prefills now display the values in the proper order.
COMING SOON
Bill Modifiers - Users will notice a mention of “Bill Modifiers” when navigating through Careflows - specifically in a Billing Setup (step) or at the Resolve Screen. This will be an area where a user can select bill modifiers to be used in conjunction with a bill code. These modifiers would be configured at the Careflow settings level and can be applicable, for example, with telehealth or place of service modifiers.
Eligibility - A new feature that provides immediate visibility into and management of a patient’s insurance coverages. Eligibility helps users identify new insurances and select which coverage should be active. When used alongside Omnivers’ existing Tag and Coverage features, Eligibility works hand in hand with Careflow Requirements to help practices determine what care is available to each patient.
