This release brings several improvements to billing accuracy and workflow, including NPI validation for submissions, expanded Billing Widget access, and the ability to trigger Careflows directly from Medical Report changes. We've also improved filter performance across the platform, expanded CSV export availability, and refreshed PDF designs for better readability.
NEW FEATURES
Medical Report Triggers - Careflows can now be triggered based on changes in a patient's Medical Report, including an increased acuity or a new condition, a medication requiring additional intervention, or a visit.
Customizable PCC Notes - Users can now configure which PCC note type Omnivers notes are pushed as, allowing for better alignment with your facility's documentation workflows.
ENHANCEMENTS
Billing Widget Allows Non-NPI Users to Select Conditions - Users without an NPI can now select billing codes within the Billing Widget. Careflows with billing codes attached must still be resolved by a user with a valid NPI.
NPI in Careflow or Facility Required for New Billing Submissions - To reduce errors in submitted bills, a valid NPI must be attached to the resolved Careflow or sourced from the facility before those bills can be included in a submission. Careflows and facilities with a valid NPI are unaffected.
Missing NPIs can be resolved in two ways:
From the Bills page - A table displays individual Careflows with a missing or invalid NPI. Clicking "Resolve" opens a modal to update the NPI and resolver name for the associated facility.
At submission - A summary shows how many Careflows will be excluded per facility due to a missing NPI. Clicking "Resolve" opens a modal listing all impacted facilities, where NPI and resolver name can be updated before finalizing the submission.
BUG FIXES
Export Issue When Filtered for Today's Date - CSV exports are available on the following pages when the date range is set to "Today": Abnormal Vitals, Session Log, Trigger Log, Patient Vitals, Bills, New Submission, and Medical Reports.
Billing Deletion Messaging - The confirmation message displayed when deleting bills has been updated for clarity.
