A universal redesign of the patient profile menu — faster navigation and mobile-optimized.

On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, the Omnivers patient profile is getting a new look. The patient view menu has been reorganized into grouped tabs for faster navigation, optimized for mobile use, and is now accessible from within Visit Mode so clinicians can pull patient context without leaving an active visit.

This article covers what's changing, what's staying the same, and where to find things in the new menu.

WHY WE'RE MAKING THIS CHANGE

Two pieces of feedback came up consistently from clinicians and admin users:

  1. "The patient menu has grown — finding the right view takes too many clicks." As Omnivers has expanded (Prescribe, RPM Enrollments, Bills, Coverages, ADLs, and more), the flat menu became long and harder to scan, especially on smaller screens.

  2. "I need patient context during a visit without leaving Visit Mode." Stepping out of an active visit to look up a medication, a recent vital, or a contact breaks workflow and risks losing in-progress documentation.

This release addresses both directly with a single, consistent patient profile experience across the platform.

WHAT'S CHANGING

1. Universal Patient Profile Menu Redesign

The patient view menu has been reorganized into six grouped tabs. This redesign applies everywhere the patient profile appears — the standard patient record, within Careflows, and now within Visit Mode — so the experience is consistent no matter how you access a patient.

  • Tabs with multiple views (e.g., EMR, Vitals) open a dropdown menu

  • Tabs with a single view (e.g., Careflows) open that view directly

2. Patient Profile Now Available in Visit Mode

Clinicians can now access the full patient profile — vitals, conditions, medications, contacts, and more — directly within Visit Mode. No more leaving the visit to pull patient context, and no risk of losing your place in active documentation.

3. Optimized Mobile Experience

  • Streamlined view — the timeline view is hidden on mobile to keep the interface focused

  • One-handed navigation — the dropdown-style menu is designed for tablet and phone use during visits

WHAT'S NOT CHANGING

Your existing workflows continue to work exactly as they do today:

  • All patient data, careflows, and saved views remain in place

  • Existing permissions and roles are unchanged

  • Billing logic, RPM enrollment data, and integrations (PCC, Prescribe) are unaffected

  • URLs and direct links to patient records continue to work

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will I lose any patient data or saved views?
No. All data, saved views, filters, and permissions carry over.

Does this apply everywhere the patient profile appears?
Yes. The redesigned menu applies universally — in the standard patient record, within Careflows, and within Visit Mode — so you'll have a consistent experience regardless of how you access a patient.

Do I need to do anything?
