Troubleshooting common log-in related issues with the web app

If you’re using a web browser to access Omnivers and encounter login issues, follow this guide to resolve them efficiently.

  1. Verify Internet Connectivity

    Ensure your device is connected to a stable internet network.

    Just because you're connected to your network or Wi-Fi doesn't mean you have a stable internet connection.

  2. Validate Login Credentials

    Double-check the accuracy of your username and password.

    Passwords are case-sensitive. Confirm spelling and capitalization.

    For PCC Credentials see below.

  3. Reset Your Password

    If you're unsure about your password, use the Reset Password link on the login page. Follow the instructions to securely reset your credentials.

  4. Switch Wi-Fi Networks

    Some networks may block access due to firewall rules.

    Try switching to a different Wi-Fi network to bypass restrictions.

  5. Use a Different Browser or Incognito Mode

    Try logging in with a different browser to identify browser-specific issues.

    Using Incognito or Private Mode can help avoid cached data or session conflicts.

  6. Contact Omnivers Support

    If the issue persists, contact Omnivers Support.

    Include details such as error messages and screenshots if available.

Tablet App Specific Steps

All the steps above also apply to troubleshooting issues experienced on the tablet app including the following tablet only steps:

  1. Check for Developer Mode

    If you see "DEV" above the Omnivers logo on the login screen, the app is in developer mode. To switch back, press and hold the Omnivers logo until "DEV" disappears then log in.

  2. Verify Internet Connectivity

    Ensure your device is connected to a stable internet network.

    Refer to this guide to test connectivity and troubleshoot network issues.

When logging in with your PCC credentials

  1. Make sure to click "Login with PointClickCare" instead using the regular log in steps on the screen.

  2. Make sure to add the prefix. "username" should be "xxx.username"

  3. Confirm that you can login to PCC itself with the same credentials https://login.pointclickcare.com/home/userLogin.xhtml

  4. Contact Omnivers Support

    If the issue persists, contact Omnivers Support.

    Include details such as the credentials (username and password) you are attempting to use to login.
