For a smoother setup, consider isolating the process by ensuring no other EDAN devices are powered on during configuration. This helps streamline detection and prevents unintended connections.

  1. Login to Omnivers App

    • Use the tablet to access the Omnivers application.

    • Click on your profile name in the top-right corner of the page and select Setup Devices.

  2. Enable the EDAN Device

    • Power on the EDAN device.

    • Locate its MAC address, typically starting with VS_3.

    • Enable the device and click Save Devices.

  3. Verify Functionality

    • Return to the main screen and open a patient profile.

    • Conduct a test reading by measuring Blood Pressure (BP), Temperature, and Pulse Oximetry (Pulse Ox).

    • Ensure that all vitals are correctly displayed on the tablet.

    • Important: Do not save the test reading—delete it after verification.

  4. Begin Patient Monitoring

    • Once the test is complete, you may proceed with recording actual patient vitals.

EDAN devices remain discoverable even when connected to the tablet. If multiple devices are being set up, it is recommended to configure them one at a time to prevent confusion.

To ensure accurate device identification, make a note of each device’s MAC address before pairing. You can find the MAC address on the device label or through its settings menu. Confirm that the MAC address displayed in the Omnivers app matches the one on the device.
