The New Provider Visits Mode in Omnivers is designed to streamline provider rounds in facilities. This fully mobile-optimized feature allows providers to efficiently manage their visits, ensuring all necessary documentation and scheduling is completed with ease.
Selecting Your Facility & Appointments
Upon arrival at the facility, select your location and choose which types of appointments you want to view for the day.
View a summary by unit and appointment type to get a quick overview.
Once you apply filters, your list automatically shrinks to show only relevant appointments.
Viewing the Patient List
The Patient List screen displays all patients requiring visits.
Toggle to view patients you have already seen.
Add an ad hoc patient if necessary.
The patient list is generated automatically from admissions and condition changes, while facilities can also add requests that appear instantly on your list.
Selecting a Patient & Viewing Appointments
When selecting a patient, a list of appointments for that patient will be displayed.
If a filter is applied, it will appear at the top, followed by other relevant appointments.
Skipping a Patient
If you are unable to see a patient during rounds, mark them as skipped.
The patient will reappear on your list the next day automatically.
Making a Call to Another Provider
If consultation with another provider is required, use the call functionality to directly contact the on-call doctor.
This feature ensures quick and efficient coordination between providers.
Creating an Ad Hoc Appointment
Click 'New' to create an ad hoc appointment.
Select whether the appointment is for immediate attention or scheduled for a later time.
