If the user is in the middle of a Careflow, you can click Next Step.
This saves the changes. From there, you can click "End." This will open up the "End Session" window where they can select the "Save Draft" option followed by the "Save Draft" button. If the user is on the step just before Resolve, you would click Resolve.
This takes you to the Resolve screen. From there, you can click the Resolve resolve button.
In the confirmation window, you'll have the option to "End Session." From there, you can save a draft like I mentioned above.
Whether it's option 1 or 2, the user will be able to see the Careflow on the list provided they are not filtered for "Resolved" ...
You will see the Start Session button on the right. Below is an example of the End Session or Resolve Careflow with option to Save Draft.
